Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the security awareness training?

Please use the following link to sign-in and access security awareness training: https://training.knowbe4.com/ui/login

Why am I still receiving emails stating that I have not completed my security awareness training even though I have completed it?

The most common reason why you are receiving email notifications is because you have not completed all of the security awareness training modules. This year there are three video modules and one policy that you must complete:

  • Review "The 4 P's of Vishing"

  • Review "Smishing Attack"

  • Review "2024 Your Role: Internet Security and You"

  • Acknowledge: "The Responsible Use of Information Technology Policy"

Why do I see the same content twice when I sign-in to KnowBe4?

Some employees serve in both staff and faculty roles. KnowBe4 runs two campaigns – one for staff and one for faculty – but both contain the same content. You only need to finish one set of video modules and acknowledge one policy. If you've completed all the training in one campaign and are still getting email notifications, please reach out to security@bridgew.edu. The IT Security Office will then reconcile the two campaigns and update your account status as having completed the training

Do I need to download, print, and/or store the certificates of completion?

No. You do not need to download, print, or otherwise store any certificates of completion for the security awareness training. However, please note that the printed certificates would look great hanging up in your office.

What do the completed training modules look like?

When you have completed the training modules, you should see the following images in the KnowBe4 learning portal: https://training.knowbe4.com/ui/login
