How to Connect ​​​​​​​ to BSU Loaner Mifi (wireless hot spot)

A MiFi device is a device that the University can loan out to faculty or staff so they can have internet access. It is a wireless device that you connect your laptop or tablet to and it acts as a wireless network. To request a MiFi device, please contact the IT Service Center. 

How to Connect a Windows Computer to a MiFi Device

1. Click on the Wireless Network Icon on your menu bar
   
2. Locate the wireless name bsumifi_5G or bsumifi and select either one
   
3. Click Connect 
   
    
4. When prompted for password enter it-loaner
   
    
5. Click Next
   
    
6. Wait for your device to connect to the MiFi Device
   
    
7. You will now be connected to the MiFi Device for internet service
