FACULTY: How do I add captions to ScreenPal Videos?

This article details how to add and include Closed Captions and transcripts using ScreenPal

Follow the below steps to include captions in a ScreenPal recording:

  1. Create a new  recording.  When finished, select Done and then Edit
  2. In the editing options, under the Show section select Captions
  3. Select Speech-to-text to have captions automatically generated
  4. ScreenPal will automatically create a transcript and captions. Note: It is important that you ensure that the automated transcript is 100% accurate.  You can click on any errors within the transcript and correct them accordingly.
  5. Once your transcript is accurate, click OK
  6. Click Done and Upload to ScreenPal)
  7. You can now share your captioned recording via ScreenPal
