FACULTY: How do I get started with using Virtual Reality in my courses?

Discover how you can get started in using Virtual Reality tools and apps in your classroom.

The Teaching & Technology Center (TTC) has a fleet of 22 Meta Quest 2 Virtual Reality (VR) headsets available for faculty use.

If you're interested in incorporating VR into your classroom:

1. Email ttc@bridgew.edu to request a consultation.

2. We'll help you plan your session and ensure that the necessary application(s) are available.

3. TTC staff can:

   • Deliver and set up the headsets in your classroom.

   • Provide an overview of the technology to your students.

   • Offer in-session technical support.

Additionally, we’ll coordinate with IT Networking to activate the BSU_VR wireless network, a specialized network designed to support VR applications in your classroom.
