FACULTY: ULTRA: How do I add library resources to my course?

Use these directions to add a resource directly from Maxwell Library into your Blackboard Ultra Course.

You can easily search for and embed resources from the library directly into your Blackboard course site. To do so, follow these instructions: 

1. Log into Blackboard and proceed to your course site
2. From the Course Content area, click the plus sign (+) where you want the library resource to go and select Content Market
3. Scroll down and click on MaxSearch
4. A Maxwell Library search page will appear. Type in your search phrase(s) and click Search
5. When you find a resource, click the +Add button next to it
   
6. This will bring you back to your Blackboard content area, where you will see the library item in your course
7. Use the options menu next to the item to edit settings and the associated text if desired
