FACULTY: Disable ALLY for items in Blackboard

How to disable or enable alternate formats (Ally) download features from items in Blackboard Ultra

ALLY is built into Ultra on an institution wide level.

To disable ALLY:

1. Click the ALLY icon next to any item you want to switch-off. 

2. The Download alternative formats box will appear. Click the drop-down arrow near the top.
   
    
3. Select ‘"disable alternative formats for this file."
   
    
4. The ALLY window will now change, and alternative formats are now disabled.
   
    
5. If you want to turn ALLY back on for documents, click the ALLY logo next to them an de-select "enable for this item."
