FACULTY: How do I set up automatic grade posting for assignments?

This article shows how to change the setting per Assignment to have Ultra post grades automatically rather than manually.

By default, grades are not posted automatically. You can change this setting for each assignment if you wish grades to be posted automatically as soon as an attempt is graded.

To change the assignment settings so grades are posted automatically as they are graded:

1. Select the assignment you wish to modify. 
   • you can do this in the content tab or within the Gradebook.
2. In Assessment Settings, select the gear icon.
3. Scroll to the Grading & Submissions section, scroll to the Assessment grade, and select the box next to the "Post assessment grades automatically."
4. Click Save.

Note: The automatic setting is not selected by default for assignments, but it is for new tests. You can always turn automatic posting back off by un-checking the box and posting it manually.
