FACULTY: How do I send messages to students in Blackboard Ultra?

Use this article to learn how to send messages to students through Blackboard Ultra.

The Messages tool allows you to send emails to individual students or your entire class roster. Students will also receive a copy of your message in Messages.

To use Messages:

1. Select the course you would like to send a message in.
2. Select Messages in your menu bar.
3. Select New Message button.
   • You can choose to send a message to a group, the whole class, multiple people, or an individual.
