If you'd like to either check a student paper for plagiarism or use SafeAssign to obtain an originality report for your own work, you may follow these steps in Ultra:

  1. Go into an Ultra course site.
  2. Click View Course & Institution Tools on the Details & Actions menu.

  3. The top item should be Instructor Tools: SafeAssign. Click into it.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. On the right side, click Upload File or Copy/Paste Text.
  5. Select your options and upload the file if necessary, then click Submit.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. The Originality Report will display on this same page within an hour or so (repeat steps 1-3 to find it if you leave the page).
