Blackboard Ally helps faculty enhance the accessibility of course materials in Blackboard Ultra. The Course Accessibility Report provides a centralized view of accessibility issues and offers actionable guidance to improve content for all learners.


How to Access the Report

  1. Open your Blackboard Ultra course.

  2. Under Details & Actions, click View course & institution tools.

  3. Select Accessibility Report.


What the Accessibility Report Includes

  • Overall Course Score
    A summary rating of your course’s accessibility based on all uploaded content.

  • Content by Type
    Breakdown of accessibility scores by content type (e.g., documents, presentations, images).

  • Issue List
    A prioritized list of accessibility issues across your course, with links to fix them.

  • Direct Fix Access
    Click on any issue to view guidance and make improvements directly from the report.

  • Look for Indicators
    Colored icons next to content items show accessibility scores. Click them for file-specific feedback.
