Body

Sometimes you may have several files to upload to your Blackboard course site. Rather than uploading a single document over and over, you can create a compressed .zip file and upload all the documents at once. Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Create your .zip file: first place all items in a folder
    1. On PC, locate your folder, right click, and choose Send to..., then choose Compressed (zipped) Folder
    2. On Mac, locate your folder and right click (or CMD + Click), then choose Compress
    3. The .zip file will be located at the same location as your original folder
  2. Login to your Blackboard course and click the + symbol where you'd like to add your files
  3. Choose Create, then Folder, give your folder a name, then click Save
  4. Click the new folder to open it, click the + on the next line, and choose Content Collection
  5. Click the Browse Content Collection button in the middle fo the screen (pick open in same window on pop-up)
  6. Hover over the Upload section at the top of the window and choose Upload Zip Package
  7. Click the Browse Local Files button and select your .zip file, then click Submit
  8. Click the folder name, then check off all your files and click the Submit button to add to your course
