Sometimes you may have several files to upload to your Blackboard course site. Rather than uploading a single document over and over, you can create a compressed .zip file and upload all the documents at once. Here are the steps to do so:
- Create your .zip file: first place all items in a folder
- On PC, locate your folder, right click, and choose Send to..., then choose Compressed (zipped) Folder
- On Mac, locate your folder and right click (or CMD + Click), then choose Compress
- The .zip file will be located at the same location as your original folder
- Login to your Blackboard course and click the + symbol where you'd like to add your files
- Choose Create, then Folder, give your folder a name, then click Save
- Click the new folder to open it, click the + on the next line, and choose Content Collection
- Click the Browse Content Collection button in the middle fo the screen (pick open in same window on pop-up)
- Hover over the Upload section at the top of the window and choose Upload Zip Package
- Click the Browse Local Files button and select your .zip file, then click Submit
- Click the folder name, then check off all your files and click the Submit button to add to your course
