FACULTY: How do I add an embedded Screenpal quiz to my Blackboard site?

This article contains the steps for creating a quiz in a Screenpal video, as well as the steps for linking that quiz to your Blackboard course and gradebook.

First, you'll need to create a quiz in Screenpal that is connected to one of your videos. To do so, follow these steps: 

1. Login at https://screenpal.com/BSU_recordings
2. Click the Create Quiz button 
3. Give your quiz a title, then either upload a new video or choose an existing Screenpal video, and click the Create Quiz button on the bottom
4. To add a question click Add a Question on the right, then choose a question type from the dropdown menu
5. You can choose to add a question at the beginning, end, or any specific time on the video
6. Continue adding questions; the quiz is saved as you go
7. When you have added all your questions, click the Assignment & Settings tab and select LMS

Once your quiz is created, you can follow the steps below to add to your Blackboard course site

1. In your Blackboard site, click the + symbol to add content, then choose Content Market
2. Click the + symbol within the Screenpal Course Content item
3. Click the ... next to the newly created Screenpal link and chose Edit to change the name of your item, then click the Add Gradebook Entry option and set up your options
4. Click the Screenpal link you set up in step 2 to choose your already created quiz in the Screenpal site
5. Check your settings for the video, quiz options, and grading (you'll want Auto-sync to grade book checked)
6. Click the Embed Quiz button, then close the Screenpal browser tab/window; the item should be linked for your students
