FACULTY: Adding the Propeller Learning Lab link to your course site

Propeller is a virtual desktop tool giving students access to a suite of tools on the cloud. It's used in the Computer Science and Cyber programs.

Before adding the Propeller Learning Lab link, make sure your course is already set up on the Propeller platform. If the course hasn’t been initialized on their end, the link will not function properly.

How to Add the Propeller Link in Blackboard Ultra

1. In your Course Content area, click the plus sign (+) where you want to add the link.

2. Select Create > Teaching Tools with LTI Connection.

3. Edit the name of the link at the top (e.g., “Propeller Learning Lab”).

4. Ensure the link is visible to students.

5. Paste the following into the Configuration URL field:
   https://4hqg9ge315.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/prd/auth/ck:21966yf9ioXzaF0DpolJK2/sso/lti/1p3/e4c23d21-ad51-456a-97c1-11980552c97e/launch

6. Check the box for “Open in new window.”

7. Click Save.

Once added, students will be able to access Propeller through the provided LTI link—assuming their Blackboard course is registered in Propeller.
