FACULTY: Using AI to Generate Assignment Ideas in Blackboard

Artificial Intelligence can help you come up with assignment ideas. This allows you to develop effective and varied assignment options tailored to your learning objectives and course content.

To Generate Assignment Ideas:

1. On the Course Content, click the "+" icon and select "Create" to add a new item. 
2. Select "Assignment" from the Assessment section of the menu.
3. Click the "Auto-generate" assignment button.
4. Blackboard will create a list of Assignments based on the course name.
5. To generate different assignments, add a Description or select course items, select Desired cognitive level, set complexity, choose to generate assignment title and click "Generate."  
6. Select the preferred Assignment and click "Add. "
7. Review and make any desired changes to the assignment title, instructions, and settings, then click "Save. "
