SAML Authentication Error on Mac

This article provides instructions for how to resolve "Authentication Failure" error on mac machines most commonly found when trying to access InfoBear / Web for Faculty

Error: While trying to access Web for Faculty or Infobear on Mac user receives this error

Fix:

1. Navigate to BridgeNet and select “BSU BridgeNet (Intranet)”

2. After login, In the top right corner click your initials in the circle and then select “View Account’. You will be redirected to your accounts page

3. From the account page select the “Security Info” option, user will be redirected again to a page requesting MFA authentication

4. Proceed with MFA Authentication. After user has successfully authenticated, close the current browsing window and navigate back to Web for Faculty or infobear. User will now have access.
