WEPA Print Sustainability

Summary

BSU’s WEPA printers use tree-free paper from Tree Free and support sustainability with nearby recycling bins.

Body

Sustainability is a priority at Bridgewater State University. WEPA cloud-based kiosk printers support this commitment by enabling efficient printing and helping to reduce paper waste.

WEPA uses eco-friendly paper from Tree Free, a company that produces 100% tree-free paper. Rather than relying on traditional wood pulp, Tree Free paper is made from sugarcane waste fiber, a renewable byproduct of agricultural processing. This sustainable alternative reduces environmental impact while maintaining high print quality.

To support recycling efforts, BSU provides recycling bins next to every WEPA kiosk for convenient and responsible disposal of printed materials.
