Overnight Visitor Policy

Overnight Visitors Policy

Overnight visitors are any visitors who arrive at/after or plan to stay beyond 11:00 PM.

Overnight visitors cannot visit for more than 3 consecutive nights in any 7-day period or in a pattern that may be interpreted by RLH Staff as being an additional occupant of the room/apartment.  Overnight visitors must have the approval of the host's roommate(s) in order to be permitted to enter and stay within the host's residence hall room.

Overnight Minor Visitors:

Any student who desires to have a minor visitor under the age of eighteen (18), other than a BSU student, stay overnight in a residence hall must seek approval from RLH.

The host must sign an agreement indicating that they are 18 years of age or older; and that they assume responsibility for the care, custody, and control of the minor while on University property.

In addition, the student host must provide an acknowledgement, a liability release, and an emergency medical care authorization for the minor from the minor’s parent or guardian to the student.

Minor Visitor Release Agreement

Please note that resident students who are under the age of 18 cannot host non-resident minor visitors.  All minor visitors must have the completed form signed by their parent or guardian with them at the time of sign-in.
