Dialing Needs for Various Phone Calls

When using a BSU phone or Microsoft Teams (logged in to your BSU account) to make phone calls, please use the following dialing information to complete your call.

Internal BSU Calls = last 4 digits of number

When using a BSU phone or Microsoft Teams (logged in to your BSU account) to make a direct call to a BSU staff person or department, enter only the last four digits of that person's or department's phone number (for example, enter 2555 for the IT Service Center).  In Teams, select "Call" at the bottom of the keypad to submit the entry and make the call.

Local and Domestic Long Distance (calls within the USA) = full 10-digit number

When making local or domestic long distance calls from a campus phone or Teams, enter the full 10-digit number to make the call (as you would when calling from a personal phone).  In Teams, select "Call" at the bottom of the keypad to submit the entry and make the call.

International Calls (approval required) = 011 + Country Code + Phone Number

If enabled for international calling in Teams, enter 011, the Country Code, and the number to make the call (as you would when calling from a personal phone).  In Teams, select "Call" at the bottom of the keypad to submit the entry and make the call.

To request international calling access, please submit the form linked below, which will then be routed for approval.
