Change Personal Voicemail Greeting

NOTE: creating/changing a greeting is not possible with the Teams mobile app on a smartphone.

1. Open Teams and login with your BSU Email and Password if you have not already.
2. Click on the user profile circle in the upper left corner. Click on Settings next to the picture of the gear.
   • This may be a colored circle with user initials or it may be a picture (if configured)
   
   
3. The Settings window will open, click on Calls next to the picture of a telephone handset
4. Click on the Configure voicemail button in the middle of that window under the Voicemail section.
5. The Voicemail window will now present. Click Record a greeting, which is the first button
   • If the Windows Security Alert window pops up. Click on the middle option, Private networks, such as my home or work network and then click on the Allow Access button at the bottom of the window.
     
6. A call to the voicemail attendant will now begin. Listen to the appropriate option.
   • When the attendant reads the main menu, click on the three dots (…) and select keypad. 
      Press 2 to change your personal greeting
      Press 1 to play and record your personal greeting
      Leave your message and press the # ke 
7. When done, click anywhere on the screen and click on red handset button to disconnect
