When you use the internet, your computer stores information from frequently visited locations. This allows your computer to save time when you frequently visit one website by storing the information from it to access it more quickly; the stored information is called cache. You can clear this information for privacy reasons, or to free up short-term storage space on your computer. If you need to clear your cache on Google Chrome, please follow these steps:
- Once the browser is open hit (CTRL+SHIFT+DEL)
- Click on the "Advanced Tab"
- Set the Time range to “All Time” and check off all the boxes. You may need to scroll down to see them all.
- Click on “Clear Data”
- Close all browser windows and then re-open the browser
