Overview
Many device manufacturers now use Private (Randomized) MAC Addresses when connecting to Wi-Fi networks. To avoid this inconvenience, you may wish to disable private MAC addresses for BSU Wi-Fi.
Follow the instructions below based on your device type:
Apple Devices
Mac (macOS Sequoia or later)

Click the Apple Menu and choose System Settings

Select Wi-Fi from the sidebar

Click Details or More Info next to the network name

Toggle Private Wi-Fi Address to Off
iPhone / iPad

Open the Settings app
-
Tap Wi-Fi

Tap the ⓘ Info button next to the network

Toggle Private Address to Off
Apple Watch

Open the Settings app
-
Tap Wi-Fi

Select the network
-
Toggle Private Address to Off
Android Devices

Open the Settings app
-
Tap Network & Internet
-
Tap Wi-Fi

Select the desired network
-
Tap Advanced
-
Tap Privacy
-
Set it to Use device MAC or Disable Randomized MAC
Windows Devices

Click the Start button
-
Open Settings
-
Go to Network & Internet > Wi-Fi

Click Manage known networks
-
Select the BSU Wi-Fi network
-
Click Properties
-
Toggle Use random hardware addresses to Off
