Body
Some devices may require Open NAT (port forwarding) to function properly. We will need the device's MAC address for all port forwarding requests.
The MAC Address is the device-specific address that we use to identify the device and grant it appropriate network permissions, permitting us to control access and make the network more secure. MAC Addresses have the format of twelve hexadecimal characters and should look similar to this: 00:0D:0A:1H:3G:5C (sometimes a dash is used as a separator instead of a colon)
For instructions on how to submit a Open NAT Request please see Open NAT / Firewall Port Request
Please Note: Gaming devices should connect to BSU_Gadgets or BSU_GameConsoles
For instructions on finding MAC addresses for devices such as Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Apple HomePod see How to Find MAC Address for IoT Devices (Personal Assistants)
For instructions on finding MAC addresses for devices such as Roku, Fire TV, or other Smart Streaming Devices see: How to Find MAC Address for Smart TVs and
