The Knowledge Base is a collection of articles that enable you to resolve many technical issues on your own.  Please use the IT Knowledge Base to search for information and steps to resolve issues common at BSU.

While many articles are open to general viewing, you can also log in with your BSU email address and password to see BSU-restricted articles.

Service Portal Usage: Please log in to your BSU account before searching the Service Catalog and Knowledge Base as some items may not be available for public viewing.  If not finding desired information, contact us (details at left).

Search Tips: For better results, use phrases or additional key words instead of single words. For example, "reset my password" in place of "password" or "install Microsoft Office" in place of "office."

General Troubleshooting Tips:
  • Restart your computer and any devices related to the issue you're having (Wi-Fi routers, printers, etc.)
  • Try another web browser or use Private/Incognito mode  (select the three dots/lines at top right of browser window, select available option)
  • Try another computer/device
  • Some logins require full email address and some require only your username (the part of your email address before the @).   Check the login page for required information.
