Zoom Meeting Transcripts: How to set up and and view Zoom Meeting Transcripts 

This KB article provides step-by-step instructions on how to set-up and view transcripts from Zoom meetings. 

  1. Go to  http://bridgew.zoom.us 

  2. Click sign-in and sign in using BSU credentials 

  3. Go to “Settings” located on the left side panelUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Then select “Recording” on the horizontal menu at the top

  5. Scroll down to "Cloud recording“and toggle it on. We recommend you save recordings to the Cloud rather than to your computer.
    Check both Zoom Meeting and Zoom Webinar.

  6. If desired, review the "Cloud recording setting" and select your preferences

  7.  Scroll down to "Advanced cloud recording settings” and make sure “Create audio transcript” is selected (it should be by default). This enables automatic transcriptions in all meetings that you create. Be sure to click the blue Save button.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)

  8. Scroll down further to “Viewers can see the transcript” to ensure this is toggled on as well. This enables anyone who received the meeting link to view the transcript in case they missed the meeting

  9. To access the transcripts, go to “Recordings & Transcripts” on the left side panel to view the meeting transcripts

  10. Select “Transcripts” on the horizontal Zoom menu at the top of the Zoom window

  11. Find the meeting for which you need the transcripts and select “Download” to access the full transcripts
