How to Access Microsoft Copilot Using BSU Credentials 

Note: These instructions are for accessing the basic Enterprise version of M365 chat. If you are interested in M365 Copilot (add-on license) which has more features and costs an additional $30 per month per user, see this article.

Accessing the Basic M365 Copilot Chat

Step 1: Open an internet browser (e.g., Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)

Step 2: Go to copilot.microsoft.com

Step 3: You will be prompted to sign in if it is your first time visiting the site.

​​​​Step 4: Enter your BSU email to sign in. If prompted for a password, enter your BSU password. Using your BSU credentials offers a level of data privacy that is superior to Microsoft personal accounts.

Step 5 (Optional): You can confirm that you are using your BSU Microsoft account by the verification button in the top right of your screen that reads "Enterprise data protection" when you hover over it.
