ALL USERS: Creating Accounts for Generative AI Tools (ChatGPT & Claude)

Creating Accounts for Generative AI Tools

This KB article explains how to sign-up for the free versions of ChatGPT and Claude, two generative AI frontier large language models. Note that ChatGPT and Claude are not affiliated with BSU unlike Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini which offer enterprise-level data protection and more features when accessed using your BSU credentials. Therefore, even when you create a ChatGPT or Claude account using your BSU email address, you are nonetheless signing up for the free versions and thus face limitations such as reduced privacy protections, minimal data security measures, restricted daily message limits, and fewer available features.

Check out our other KB articles about Copilot and Gemini if you're interested in using BSU affiliated AI tools.
