Creating a Free Claude.ai (generative AI) Account
This KB article explains how to sign-up for the free version of Claude.ai, a generative AI frontier large language model.
BSU does not have an enterprise-level Claude.ai subscription like we do for Microsoft Copilot (see Copilot instructions) and Google Gemini (see Gemini instructions). Use BSU enterprise-level accounts when you are working with large amounts of data, require greater privacy protections and security, need more model features or more recent models, and seek fewer daily message limits.
If you plan to use your Claude.ai account for any BSU-related business, then use your BSU email to set up the account as described below.

Steps to creating a Claude.ai free individual account

Go to Claude.ai

At the log in screen, select Continue with Google.

Enter your BSU email address.

Enter your BSU credentials if prompted.

Enter a verification code sent to your BSU email address, if applicable.
