Adobe software requests

General Information

The free Adobe Acrobat Reader is pre-installed on all BSU-issued computers.  Adobe Acrobat Reader allows you to view PDF documents, complete PDF-based forms, and use Adobe's Fill & Sign tool for "flat" forms (forms that do not have defined fields for data entry).

All other Adobe software requires a paid subscription.

BSU does not maintain site licensing for any paid Adobe products. Below are options for departmental and personal purchases.

Departmental Purchases

Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise - BSU IT pre-purchases a number of Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions in order to obtain the best possible pricing.  Departments can then reimburse IT for the cost of their desired number of subscriptions.  Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise is the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Acrobat Pro, Adobe Express, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and more.  Each subscription adds 50G Adobe Cloud storage to a combined cloud storage pool available to subscribers.  Subscriptions are assigned to individuals and login is done using BSU email address and password.  Subscriptions must be renewed every fiscal year.  

Please have your department's budget manager fill out and submit the Adobe Creative Cloud budget transfer form (form opens in new tab and requires BSU login if you are not already logged in).

Other Adobe products - if your needs cannot be met by Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise, please request a consultation so we can explore how to best meet your needs. 

 

Personal Purchases

BSU IT offers the same Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise subscription (see listing in Departmental Purchases, above) to students and employees who want to pay for the software personally.  You can purchase for the full academic/fiscal year or only a portion, depending on your needs.  Subscriptions are assigned to individuals and login is done with BSU email address and password; they must be renewed yearly for continued access.  See our TouchNet Marketplace store for more information and to make your purchase.
