How to Find the Computer Name

Start Menu

1. Click on the Search next to the Start Menu
2. Type in 'Computer Name'
3. Select See the Name of this Computer or View you PC Name
4. The About screen will open and the computer name will be listed on this screen.

My Computer / This PC Method

1. Go to Desktop 
2. Right Click the icon for Computer or This PC
3. Select Properties
4. The About screen will open and the computer name will be listed on this screen.

Windows Key and Pause/ Break Combination

1. Press WIN + Pause/ Break together. Pause/ break is an old key, but is still included on most computer keyboards. It is usually located next to the Scroll Lock or PrtScn keys on the right side of the keyboard. 
2. The About screen will open and the computer name will be listed on this screen.
