Wireless Network: Login Issues

The wireless network offers BSU faculty, staff, and students a constant connection to both the BSU intranet as well as the Internet from any location on campus. To connect to the network you must set it up on your device.

You must verify your device meets the Network Authentication Requirements before you begin.  See our Hardware and Authentication requirements for details.

For instructions on connecting various devices to the BSU Network, check out our Wireless Setup instructions.

If you have already completed the wireless setup on your device, log in with your BSU username (everything BEFORE the @ in your BSU email address) and password.

If you are still having trouble connecting to the BSU network, try the following:

  • Restart your computer
  • Verify you are using only the first part of your email address (i.e., j1doe) instead of the entire address
  • Ensure you do not have CAPS locked on your keyboard
  • Change your password (if you are receiving a username password error)
  • Remove/Forget the BSU_Guest network from your saved connections
  • Check for saved credentials that may no longer be correct

If problems still persist, please contact the Service Center for assistance.
