WEPA Sustainability at Bridgewater State University
Sustainability is a priority at Bridgewater State University, and WEPA cloud-based printing supports the University's commitment to reducing environmental impact through efficient, responsible printing practices.
Environmentally Friendly Paper
WEPA kiosks use eco-friendly paper supplied by Tree Free, a company that produces 100% tree-free paper.
Instead of traditional wood pulp, Tree Free paper is manufactured from sugarcane waste fiber (bagasse), a renewable byproduct of agricultural processing. This sustainable alternative helps reduce deforestation while maintaining the high-quality printing students expect.
Supporting Campus Recycling
To encourage responsible disposal of printed materials, recycling bins are located next to every WEPA kiosk on campus. Students are encouraged to recycle unwanted printouts and paper waste whenever possible.
By combining cloud-based printing, sustainable paper, and convenient recycling, WEPA helps Bridgewater State University promote environmentally responsible printing across campus.
