Blackboard Ultra's content editor relies on your browser's built-in spell checker. There's no separate spell checker tool within the editor itself.
When you misspell a word, the red squiggly underline appears. This is a signal from your browser's spell checker, not Blackboard. By right-clicking on the underlined word, you can access your browser's spell check suggestions and make corrections that way.
