STUDENT: I just used Respondus and now I can't see my task bar or start button at the bottom of my desktop.

If Respondus booted you out and there is no task bar or start button at the bottom of your screen then follow these steps:

If you have a Respondus Shortcut Icon on your Desktop

1. Open Respondus through the Shortcut Icon.
2. Instead of entering your username, close out of the screen by clicking the red X in the upper right hand corner.
3. When asked Are You Sure, click Yes.
4. You will see that the task bar is now at the bottom of your screen. Next, make sure you log out of your user account.
5. Last step is to log back in, and everything should be back as it was.

If you do not have Respondus Shortcut Icon on your Desktop

1. Shut off your computer by holding down the power button.
2. Turn back on your computer after you have shut it completely off.
3. When you log back in, you should see that the task bar is on the bottom of your screen now.
4. Go to the Start button or search bar to find Respondus and open it back up.
5. Follow Steps 2-5 to finish fixing the issue.
