ALL USERS: Are you using a Mac and having trouble entering text in Journals, Exams, Discussions, or Assignments?

If you are using a MAC computer and having trouble submitting text on your Journal, Discussion, Assignment, or Exam in Blackboard, check what operating system your Mac is currently running.  

If you are running an older operating system, you may need to update your MacOS to a more recent version. Follow these steps:

• BACK UP ANY IMPORTANT FILES BEFORE PROCEEDING!
• If you don't already have Time Machine set up, proceed with the setup process.  You will want to set this up and run a backup PRIOR to running the updates to ensure you can revert back if you encounter any issues.
• Verify your Mac meets the requirements to upgrade and proceed with the upgrade process.
