STUDENT: ULTRA: I am new to Blackboard Ultra, how do I use it?

Blackboard Ultra might look a bit different from what you're used to with Blackboard Learn Original courses. The video covers all the basics like how to move around the course, find your grades, and more. If you're new to Ultra, this video is a must-watch!

If videos aren't your thing, we've also got a helpful image that breaks down the different parts of a Blackboard Ultra course:

A. Navigation bar: This is where you'll find tabs like Content, Calendar, Discussions, Gradebook, and Messages that allow you to easily access those tools.

B. Details & Actions: Find your course information and tools, such as the roster, course description, progress tracking, and more.

C. Course content: All of the course content appears in this main area of the page. As you open content items, they open as layers in front of the main course page. Close the layers to return to a previous page or the content list. You can also search for course content by using the magnifying glass icon at the right side of the course content page.

D. New activity: Keep an eye out for the blue speech bubble icon. It means you have something new to check out or complete.
