Blackboard Login Issues

Blackboard is configured differently for different users. Please go to the section corresponding to your role at BSU.

Please note: Internet Explorer is not compatible with Blackboard. For more information please check out: Blackboard Supported Browsers

Students

 

Registered for classes recently?

It can take up to 2 hours from when you registered for Blackboard to enroll you in the course.

 

 Other things to try:

  • Make sure you enter your whole BSU email address as your username. Your password is the same as the one you use to access your email account.
  • Try Clearing your Browser Cache or try using a different browser.
  • Try resetting your password. You can find information on how to do this here: How to Reset your BSU Password

 

Faculty/ Staff

When the registrar's office adds a Faculty member as an instructor to a course in Banner for the first time, a Blackboard account is automatically created for them.  A department may assign a faculty member to a course but the Blackboard account is not created until the registrar adds him/her to the course in Banner.

It can take up to 2 hours from when the registrar adds you as an instructor for the first time until Blackboard creates an account for you. 

 

To login to Blackboard, enter your BSU Email Address and Password and click LOGIN.
