FACULTY: How to Record Attendance using Zoom

While it is simple enough to read the attendance window in Zoom to record your attendance, you can use the Zoom attendance reporting feature to see who actually attended and for how long. To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Sign into Zoom with your BSU email and password
  2. On the left menu, select Reports
  3. Click the Usage link
  4. In the date fields, pick a range that covers the meeting you need, then click Search
  5. A list of meetings in the range you specified will appear; click on the blue number under the participants column to view the attendance for your meeting.
  6. In the report pop up, check the box that reads Show Unique Users to consolidate the report list and show how long each attendee was present during your meeting.
  7. You may also click the Export button on that page to download the data into an Excel .csv file
