FACULTY: How do I embed Poll Everywhere in PowerPoint or convert PowerPoint into Poll Everywhere?

Poll Everywhere integrates with PowerPoint to allow live polling directly within your presentations. Below are step-by-step instructions for embedding polls on both Windows and Mac systems.

🖥️ Embedding Polls in PowerPoint on Windows (PC)

  1. Visit the Poll Everywhere for Windows PowerPoint page and download the plug-in.
📩 If you run into installation issues, contact the TTC for support.

  2. Open the downloaded file and install the plug-in.

  3. Launch PowerPoint. A Poll Everywhere sign-in prompt will appear (if not, it will appear later).

  4. After signing in, look for the Poll Everywhere tab in the PowerPoint menu.

  5. From this tab, you can:

    • Create new polls

    • Insert existing polls from your Poll Everywhere account
(Polls are activated automatically in presentation mode.)

  6. To sync updates made to your polls:

    • Click Poll Everywhere > Sync > Current (or All) to refresh the slides.

  7. 🖥️ Important: If you use separate computers for creating and presenting, the plug-in must be installed on both machines.
