Blackboard Ultra's "grid view" of Gradebook does not allow instructors to reorder the existing assignment columns directly.
You must switch to the "list view" of the Gradebook by clicking the icon with three lines in the upper left corner in order to reorder Gradebook columns.
By using the up/down arrows to the right of the assessment item, instructors can click and drag individual items up/down to place them into the desired order. Items at the top of the list view will appear to the left in the grid view.
For example, in "list view" moving the "Attendance" item by dragging it to the top of the list of assessments will move it to the leftmost column when you return to the "grid view."
