Sharing your Google Doc version history can help professors ensure that your writing is original. In order to hand in a Google Doc with the version history to your professor, follow these steps.
Important: Ensure you write the paper in Google Doc. If not, your professor will not be able to view the version history.
- Go to: https://drive.google.com and log in using your BSU email and password
- Press the blue "Share" option in the top right.
- Under General access, choose “Anyone with the link” and set permission to Editor (Full editing access)

- Copy the share link
- (Optional) Uncheck "Notify people" unless your professor asks to receive an email notification.
- Submit your Google Doc by pasting the share link to your assignment
- Do not convert it to a Word document or PDF if you want to keep the version history visible.
