FACULTY: ULTRA: How do I add a Zoom meeting in my Ultra course site?

To add a Zoom meeting to your Blackboard Ultra course site, just follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the “Content” tab of your Ultra course site,
  2. Click the (+) sign under Course Content and select Content Market.
  3. On the Content Market page, scroll down until you see the Zoom Tool.
  4. Click the plus sign (+) in the bottom right corner to add the Zoom tool to your course content area.
  5. By default, the Zoom Tool is hidden from students. To change that, click the drop down arrow next to Hidden from students and select Visible to students.

Next, you need to create your Zoom meeting so students will have a meeting to join when they click on this tool:

  1. Click on the Zoom Tool from your course content page.
  2. Click the blue Schedule a New Meeting button in the upper right corner.
  3. Select all the settings and options you'd like.
  4. Click the blue Save button at the bottom to create the meeting. 

Your Zoom meeting is now all set up.

Additional Tips:

  • To edit the title of your Zoom tool, click the ellipses (...) on the right, then click Edit. Click the Zoom Tool title to change it. Then click Save.
  • You can rearrange items in your course content, by clicking and dragging to re-order.
