Instead of using a quiz generator third party tool, you can simply upload a file to add premade questions for tests, surveys, and question pools. The questions can also still be edited and used in the same way as any questions created within the Blackboard course.
It’s important to note that the file must meet certain requirements and the question types must be in the right formats to upload successfully. To find out the file and question requirements, read this Blackboard article.
In order to create a test using uploaded questions, follow these directions:
- Go to the location in your Course Content page where you want to add the test
- Click the purple plus icon (+), then click Create
- Click on Test
- Give a name to your Test
- Click the purple plus icon (+), and select Upload questions from a file
- Your local desktop or documents will pop up. Select the TXT file with your questions
- Click Open and the test content will be populated with the questions
- Check that all questions have been uploaded correctly
