FACULTY: Sending an email to your full class list

To get a list of the email addresses of your class, you will use Web for Faculty. 

Steps:

  1. First, open your Outlook client on your computer
  2. In your browser, log in to Web for Faculty (Banner) by clicking Enter Secure Area  at this link: Web for Faculty then click Login using SSO​​​​​​. If you're already logged into another BSU tool it should take you directly to Web for Faculty
  3. Click the Faculty Services tab
  4. Click Class list; this will bring up a list of all your current and past teaching assignments
  5. Click either the Course ID (e.g. ENGL 101,001) or the Enrollment for the class you want to email. Your cursor will not change when you click these, just trust it will take you to the right place
  6. You'll be on a page with the list of your enrolled students. Click the box in the top left to select all, then click the envelope icon to send email to the selected students.Image with red circles around the envelope icon to emails to a selected student and where to select student(s)
  7. A new email with your enrolled students listed in the BCC field should open
